Chief Executive Carrie Lam visited Queen Elizabeth Hospital today to inspect the efforts being undertaken there to deal with the influenza situation.
Speaking to reporters after the visit, Mrs Lam said the flu situation is quite serious, resulting in an increase in patient intake that in turn increases the workload of medical staff.
She called on the Hospital Authority to come up with alleviation solutions, adding the Government will complement its efforts on the resources front.
