The overall Comprehensive Social Security Assistance caseload stood at 236,681 in February, up 0.1% on January, the Social Welfare Department said today.
Low-earnings cases fell 1% to 5,149 while unemployment cases fell 0.3% to 14,089.
Both single-parent and ill-health cases dropped 0.1% to 26,804 and 24,112.
Permanent disability cases decreased 0.2% to 17,481.
Old age cases increased 0.2% to 144,666.
