To celebrate the Spring Lantern Festival, the Leisure & Cultural Services Department will hold three lantern carnivals from February 10 to 12.
Featuring music, dance and acrobatic performances, including Sichuan opera, the carnivals will be held respectively over the three nights at Sha Tsui Road Playground, the Cultural Centre Piazza and North District Park.
There will also be demonstrations of Chinese folk crafts, like Foshan paper cutting, double brush calligraphy, mahjong tile engraving and lantern crafting.
Colourful lantern displays will light up the carnival sites from February 9, offering attractive spots for photo-taking.
Youth Night will be held at the three venues on the eve of each carnival to showcase youngsters' energy and creativity.
