The Home Affairs Department has appealed to registered electors to vote in the rural by-election to be held November 27.
Eight rural representative vacancies are open and 10 valid nominations have been received.
Polling will be held from noon to 7pm.
Two candidates are running for the Sha Lo Tung Lei Uk Indigenous Inhabitant Representative post of the Tai Po Rural Committee.
Another two candidates are running for the Tai O Market Street Resident Representative post of the Tai O Rural Committee.
Six candidates were returned uncontested to be the Indigenous Inhabitant Representative of Shek Lau Po, Cheung Muk Tau and Fan Tin San Yi Cho, and Resident Representatives of Shek Lau Po, Mau Wu Tsai and Sha Kong Wai.
