Olympic Focal Sites will be set up at five sports centres from August 6 to allow the public to share in the excitement of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, the Leisure & Cultural Services Department announced today.
Large television walls are available in the sports centres to show daily selected moments from the Olympic Games, while sports-themed activities including booth games, exhibitions and sports demonstrations will also be held.
The five sports centres include Kowloon Park Sports Centre, Chai Wan Sports Centre, Smithfield Sports Centre, Hong Kong Velodrome and Ping Shan Tin Shui Wai Sports Centre.
The Olympic Focal Sites are open between August 6 and 21 from 8am to 11pm. Admission is free on a first-come, first-served basis.
