2 Mainland H7N9 cases reported

April 18, 2016

The Centre for Health Protection has learned of two avian influenza A(H7N9) cases on the Mainland involving a 43-year-old woman and her 23-year-old son.

Both live in Ji'an and work in Fujian. They are in a stable condition.

Mainland health authorities have reported 738 human H7N9 cases since 2013.

The centre reminded people not to visit live poultry markets and farms and to avoid contact with poultry, birds and their droppings.
