The Centre for Health Protection today urged people to take precautions against Dengue fever, as two new cases have been confirmed in the past week.
The patients had travelled to the Philippines during the incubation period.
As of October 1 there had been 83 confirmed cases this year, including a local case, 81 imported cases and a case under investigation.
The number of recorded cases so far this year is the highest compared with the corresponding period in the last 10 years, from 19 to 81 from 2005 to 2014.
The centre advised people to take anti-mosquito precautions when travelling abroad.
