The Health & Medical Research Fund has launched the Research Fellowship Scheme and is inviting applications until October 9.
Tertiary institutions funded by the University Grants Committee can each nominate up to three fellowship applicants. The grant ceiling per award is $1.2 million inclusive of $200,000 for training.
The application should include a training course or attachment relating to health services or public health, and a research project relating to the proposed training.
The vetting will consider the applicant’s capability, interview performance, support by a mentor and administering institution, the importance of the training proposal and its relevancy to the proposed research project.
