The Immigration and Hospital Authority officers sent to Thailand have provided advice and assistance to Hong Kong residents injured in the Bangkok explosion.
Secretary for Food & Health Dr Ko Wing-man told reporters today the officers will help victims wishing to return to Hong Kong if their local doctor considers their discharge appropriate.
He said the authority's officers will stay in Bangkok for one or two more days, depending on the victims' needs.
On the death of a man outside North Lantau Hospital, Dr Ko said a report compiled by the authority will be completed soon.
The Government will study the report and review the current procedures, he added.
