The Department of Health is monitoring 12 newly reported Middle East Respiratory Syndrome cases in Saudi Arabia, including one death.
The patients include nine men and three women aged 45 to 99. One has died, nine are in a critical condition while two others are in a stable condition.
Meanwhile, one previously confirmed patient has died.
So far 1,413 MERS cases have been reported to the World Health Organisation globally, including at least 502 deaths.
The department urged travellers to the Middle East not to go places where camels are kept and to avoid unnecessary visits to healthcare facilities.
Travel agents organising tours to the Middle East are advised not to arrange camel rides and activities involving the animals, which may increase the risk of infection.
