The Centre for Health Protection was notified of two suspected Middle East Respiratory Syndrome cases from noon yesterday to noon today.
The patients tested negative for the MERS virus in a preliminary check.
No confirmed case of MERS has been identified in Hong Kong so far.
The centre urges people to avoid unnecessary travel to Korea and contact with sick people or animals in the Middle East.
