The Centre for Health Protection has reported that from noon yesterday to noon today, there were six new cases of severe adult influenza, including five deaths.

An additional death was recorded among previously reported cases, bringing the total number of cases to 618, with 475 deaths.

The centre again urged people to heighten vigilance and get vaccinated early against seasonal influenza.
