The Centre for Health Protection has announced that from noon yesterday to noon today, one new severe adult influenza case, resulting in death, was recorded.

This brings the total number of severe adult cases to 580, including 437 deaths.

The centre urged people to stay vigilant, get vaccinated early, and maintain good personal and environmental hygiene.
