The Centre for Health Protection has learned of 19 additional avian influenza A (H7N9) cases on the Mainland.
They involve 13 male patients and six female patients, aged three to 76. Three of them have died and two are in critical condition.
Eleven cases are from Zhejiang, three are from Jiangsu, two are from Hunan, one is from Fujian, one is from Guizhou and one is from Jiangxi.
It brings the total number of confirmed H7N9 cases on the Mainland to 618.
