The Centre for Health Protection has learned of two new avian influenza A (H7N9) cases in Guangdong Province.
They involve a 42-year-old man in Shenzhen and a 52-year-old woman in Dongguan, who are in critical condition.
That brings the total number of confirmed H7N9 cases on the Mainland to 460.
