The Food & Environmental Hygiene Department has revoked the licence of a Yuen Long restaurant and ordered another eatery in Tin Shui Wai to close for two weeks.
Ching Kee restaurant on the ground floor of Ho Sing Building on Kam Fai Path, Yuen Long, had its licence cancelled after seeing 17 convictions in October for illegally extending its business area, resulting in $164,000 in fines.
Hing Kee Spicy Rice Noodles shop on the ground floor of Grandeur Terrace, Tin Shui Wai, was ordered to close for 14 days from today after two convictions of illegally extending business area in October, resulting in $18,000 in fines.
The department reminded eateries to comply with the Food Business Regulation.
