Hong Kong's overall median monthly household income grew 3.9% to $23,800 in the third quarter of this year.
Releasing the Quarterly Report on General Household Survey for July to September today, the Census & Statistics Department said the number of domestic households was 2,438,400, compared to 2,429,400 in the second quarter.
Median monthly employment earnings stayed at $13,000.
The size of the labour force was 3,918,600, up by 46,300.
The number of unemployed people was 132,900 - 71,400 men and 61,500 women.
