Hong Kong athletes obtained eight medals - two gold, one silver and five bronze - at the Incheon 2014 Asian Para Games today.
Chief Executive CY Leung congratulated Chan Yui-chong, who won in the Women’s Foil Individual - Category B event, and Tang Wai-lok, who won in the Men's S14 200m Freestyle.
"On behalf of all the Hong Kong people, I would like to extend my warmest congratulations to them," Mr Leung said, adding he hoped Hong Kong athletes will continue to strive for excellence and shine in the Incheon Asian Para Games.
Secretary for Home Affairs Tsang Tak-sing also said the athletes’ astonishing achievements are the fruits of their unswerving efforts over the years, and deserve our heartfelt compliments and respect.
