Hong Kong cyclist Lee Wai-sze accepted congratulations from Chief Executive CY Leung today after she won the first gold medal for Hong Kong in the 17th Asian Games in Incheon, Korea, in the Keirin event.

"The exceptional achievement of Lee Wai-sze is the result of hard work and tenacity over the years. We all take pride in her excellent performance," Mr Leung said.

He encouraged all Hong Kong athletes to spare no effort to achieve more brilliant results.
