A suspected local case of MERS, or Middle East Respiratory Syndrome, has been confirmed to be negative, the Centre for Health Protection announced today.
The case involves a 49-year-old man who travelled to Kuwait and returned to Hong Kong via Dubai.
No MERS cases have been confirmed in Hong Kong.
