The Food & Environmental Hygiene Department has shut down a Kwai Chung restaurant for operating without a licence.
The shop, at 8 Cheong Hung Mansion on Shun Fong Street, had its licence cancelled earlier after repeatedly extending its business area illegally, but continued to operate.
The department applied for and was granted a court order to close the restaurant.
The closure order was affixed to the restaurant today and will take effect on August 12.
