The Centre for Food Safety has seized frozen poultry products imported from the UK.
The action was taken in response to media reports of hygiene problems in the plants of two British poultry product companies, 2 Sisters Food Group and Faccenda Foods.
The centre found that Marks & Spencer in Hong Kong had imported frozen cooked turkey and chicken products from 2 Sisters Food Group, while Sang Yick Foods Company had imported frozen chicken from a 2 Sisters Food Group plant in Wales.
The two importers have stopped selling the products and handed over remaining stocks to the centre.
The centre said the action is a precautionary measure. British authorities are investigating the matter.
