The Leisure Link System will take advance bookings for the Hong Kong Velodrome cycling track and arena in Tseung Kwan O from April 21, the Leisure & Cultural Services Department announces. The velodrome will open on April 30.
All hirers and users must have a department-issued track pass.
There are two types of hiring arrangements for using the cycling track. Under the "exclusive use" arrangement, a hirer will have the exclusive right to use the whole cycling track.
Shared-use sessions will also be arranged, during which a maximum of 20 riders can be accommodated to share the use of the track concurrently.
Apart from the cycling track, people can also make advance booking for the velodrome arena for badminton activities from tomorrow. For volleyball and basketball activities, only organisational bookings are accepted.
