The Department of Health is monitoring an additional case of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome.
The patient, a 49-year-old man from Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, is in critical condition.
He has no recent travel history and has not had contact with animals, but had contact with another MERS patient whose case was reported on March 11.
This brings the latest global number of confirmed cases of the disease to 199, including 84 deaths.
