2 more H7N9 cases reported

The Centre for Health Protection was today notified of two more H7N9 cases, affecting two Guangdong men.

 

A 47-year-old patient is a poultry worker, while the other, aged 71, has no recent poultry contact history.

 

They are in critical condition.

 

A total of 148 human H7N9 cases have been confirmed on the Mainland so far.

 

The centre is monitoring the situation and liaising with Mainland health authorities.
