The Centre for Food Safety today launched a free Android version of its Nutrition Calculator mobile application.
The app will help consumers make better food choices by using nutrition information on prepackaged food to set up their personal food database, and to know their daily upper limits and daily intake goals for different nutrients.
The "NuCal" app is now available in English, traditional Chinese and simplified Chinese versions for Android tablet computers and phones, in addition to the existing iPhone, iPad and iPod touch versions.
