The Department of Health warns people not to buy or consume an oral product called Tinea Schwartz's, which may contain an undeclared Western medicine, prednisone.
 
The Hospital Authority contacted the department after a 67-year-old man fell ill after taking the product for two weeks. He is now stable.
 
Laboratory test showed the product contained the undeclared Western medicine prednisone, a steroid which can cause a swollen face, high blood pressure, high blood sugar and peptic ulcers.
 
The man had purchased the product from an Internet website.
