Man critical with Legionnaires' disease

The Centre for Health Protection is investigating a case of Legionnaires' disease involving a 58-year-old man. His condition is critical.
He fell ill on June 18 and was admitted to Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital's intensive care unit on June 23.
He has no recent travel history and his home contacts have no symptoms.
This is the 12th case of Legionnaires' disease reported to the centre this year. There were 17 cases in 2011 and 20 in 2010.
