Germany Wintex Brand Herbal Sep Capsules, manufactured by Hong Kong Medicine Manufactory, are being recalled.
 
The Department of Health announced today the product contains excessive chromium.
 
If one consumes the product according to its dosage instruction, the level of chromium detected is believed to be unlikely to cause acute harmful effects, according to World Health Organisation recommendations.
