Two proprietary Chinese medicines by Chung Lien Kulin Brand are being recalled as they contain a heavy metal and an undeclared Western medicine, the Department of Health warned today.
An Shen Bunao Pian contains an excessive level of mercury. The product is used to treat restlessness and insomnia, and is imported by Fung Wah (HK) Company.
Bi Yan Pian contains a trace amount of
paracetamol. The product is for treating
rhinitis symptoms and is imported by Kin Kwok Trading Company.
Both are imported from the Mainland.
