Tamar water passes safety checks
January 26, 2012
The remaining 158 water samples taken from the whole Tamar site have passed safety checks for Legionella bacteria.
The Centre for Health Protection today said laboratory tests on the samples found they did not exceed the action level of one colony-forming unit per millilitre.
A total of 451 post-disinfection samples were collected from the Chief Executive's Office, the Legislative Council Complex, the Central Government Offices and Tamar Park to ensure the Legionella bacterial count had returned to normal levels.
