9 foods fail tests

Nine items have failed Centre for Food Safety tests.
 
A sample of sliced boiled pork with jellyfish contained Salmonella, while three samples of a condiment and sauce contained plasticisers.
 
A sample of rice with barbecue pork contained Staphylococcus aureus. A warning letter was issued to the food premises.
 
A pork ball contained illicit preservative sorbic acid.
 
A noodlefish contained illicit preservative formaldehyde.
 
A frozen Kihadamaguro Otoro and ling fillet contained mercury.
 
The centre is now following up on the findings.
