10 foods fail tests

Ten food samples have failed Centre for Food Safety tests.
A sample of ceylon spinach was found to contain pesticide endosulfan, while two frozen tuna fish samples were found to contain high levels of mercury.
Samples of chilli sauce, oyster sauce and curry paste were found to contain benzoic acid.
Two fried fritters and a mung bean dessert with QQ pills were found to contain boric acid.
A follow-up sample of spinach with preserved bean curd was found to contain Bacillus cereus.
The centre is now taking action on the findings.
