Tainted bean paste recalled

The Centre for Food Safety announced today a sample of Ming Shan Brand Hot Bean Paste from Taiwan has been found to contain a plasticiser.
The importer Forcode Industries has initiated a recall on the affected batch, manufactured by An-An Food Industry Corp, which has a best-before date of March 7, 2012.
The centre has instructed the importer to stop selling the affected batch and recall it.
The importer has set up a hotline, 2410 8988.
