Tainted sauces recalled

August 17, 2011
People are urged to stop consuming two kinds of sauce imported from Taiwan, which have been found to contain a plasticiser.

They are Flavor Full Black Sesame Spread, manufactured by Flavor Full Foods, and Kimlan Sweet Sauce manufactured by Kimlan Foods.

The Centre for Food Safety has instructed importers to recall the affected batches. They have set up hotlines 3628 7800 and 2382 0678 for enquiries on the respective sauces.
