Woman charged for mother's murder

Police today charged a 50-year-old woman for murdering her mother. She will appear at Kwun Tong Magistrates' Courts tomorrow.
 
The woman called Police on Monday saying her mother and father, aged 83 and 86, had collapsed inside their flat in Tsui Shek House, Ping Shek Estate in Ngau Tau Kok.
 
The mother was certified dead at the scene, while the father was unconscious and sent to United Christian Hospital.
 
Post-mortem examinations showed the mother had multiple injuries. Toxicological tests will be arranged.
