Mr Chan toured the SAHK Jockey Club New Page Inn which provides care and support services for tetraplegic patients.

He thanked the rehabilitation centre's staff for their commitment to serving the patients.

Mr Chan then visited the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals iBakery Production & Training Centre and chatted with its disabled staff to learn about their work.

He said the centre provides employment opportunities for the disabled and allows them to unleash their potential and integrate into the community.

He added the Government is making good use of its budget surplus to build a caring and inclusive society, saying it has set aside $30 billion in the 2017-18 Budget to improve residential care and rehabilitation services for the elderly and disabled, and to boost community and employment support and other services for the disabled.
