Create Hong Kong launched the 4th round of the First Feature Film Initiative today to nurture filmmaking talent.
Introduced in 2013, the initiative aims to identify talent through a competition on screenplays and production proposals.
Each of the two Higher Education Institution Group winners will get $3.25 million to produce their films, while the Professional Group winner will receive $5.5 million.
The director of each participating team should not have shot any commercial film of 80 minutes or longer.
Application deadline is August 15.
