Financial Secretary John Tsang says it is very meaningful for China to host the G20 summit for the first time, providing valuable opportunities for Hong Kong to participate in international affairs.

Speaking to the media before departing for Hangzhou today to attend the G20 Leaders’ Summit, Mr Tsang said he is looking forward to having a deeper understanding of various economies’ stance towards international policies.

He said he will grasp the chance to have bilateral discussions with participating economies.
