Secretary for Financial Services & the Treasury Prof KC Chan ended his visit to Eastern Europe in Helsinki yesterday where he attended a breakfast roundtable meeting hosted by the Finland Chamber of Commerce.
He spoke with key representatives of the country's financial and banking institutions on the opportunities arising from Hong Kong's Fintech ecosystem and China's continued opening up.
He then met a board member of the Bank of Finland Seppo Honkapohja to exchange views on the impact of the global economic outlook on monetary policies.
He later called on Minister of Justice & Employment Jari Lindstrom and joined a roundtable discussion on Fintech development. He then visited a cyber security firm.
