Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Gregory So today met Republic of Kazakhstan Consul-General Anuarbek Argingazin.

 

They exchanged views on how both places can work together to capitalise on the wealth of opportunities emerging from the Mainland's Belt & Road initiatives.

 

Mr So said Kazakhstan, located in the central part of Eurasia, has an important role to play under the Belt & Road initiatives.

 

During the meeting, he learned more about the country's new economic policy and its latest developments.

 

Mr So also thanked the Kazakhstan Consulate for its work in promoting stronger bilateral relations with Hong Kong.
