Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Gregory So will visit Chile, Mexico and the US from August 24 to 30, to promote economic and trade relations.
In Santiago Mr So will meet government officials and the business sector, attend business luncheons and meet Chinese Ambassador to Chile Li Baorong. He will also visit the cities of Casablanca and Valparaiso.
In Mexico City he will meet government officials and business leaders, attend a business luncheon and meet Chinese Ambassador to Mexico Qiu Xiaoqi.
In San Francisco he will visit an electric vehicle manufacturer, discuss the regulation of food trucks with officials and see the mobile eateries in action.
He will meet Chinese Consul-General in San Francisco Luo Linquan and attend a dinner with the Hong Kong Association of Northern California.
