Financial Secretary John Tsang has urged legislators to approve the Government's political reform proposal, saying politics and the economy have an intimate relationship.
Speaking to reporters today, Mr Tsang said he feared if the reform proposal is rejected, a bottleneck will form in Hong Kong’s economic development.
He noted the market is very volatile recently, urging investors to be cautious.
