Financial Secretary John Tsang says the 2015 Policy Address is solid and meets the community's expectations.
He told reporters today he will deliver the Budget on February 25, which will support the Government in pursuing the objectives outlined in the Policy Address.
Noting that boosting the economy is one of the Government's key objectives, he said he will elaborate on these policy measures.
On the proposal to earmark $50 billion to improve retirement protection, Mr Tsang said the move demonstrates the Government's commitment to social welfare.
He estimated it will cost the Government $8 billion to implement the measures listed in the Policy Address.
