Financial Secretary John Tsang, who is leading a business delegation to the Middle East, started his two-day visit to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates today.
Mr Tsang started the day by meeting with Jumeirah Group Chairman Gerald Lawless at the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, where he was given a tour of the Jumeirah hotel complex.
He then met with UAE Minister of Cabinet Affairs Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi.
Mr Tsang and the delegation later attended a lunch hosted by Dubai Financial Services Authority Chairman Saeb Eigner.
A presentation was given by Mr Eigner and Dubai International Financial Centre Governor Essa Abdulfattah Kazim.
Chinese Consul General in Dubai Tang Weibin hosted a dinner for Mr Tsang and the delegation in the evening.
