Secretary for Development Paul Chan will attend the IV Moscow Urban Forum on December 9.
The forum provides a global platform in which government officials, experts and academics in city planning and urban development can exchange views and share experiences. Mr Chan will speak at the opening plenary session on drivers and priorities of city development in Hong Kong.
During his stay in the Russian capital, Mr Chan will meet with officials and attend meetings of the Moscow International Advisory Board on Urban Development.
Director of Drainage Services Daniel Chung and Head of the Energising Kowloon East Office Brenda Au will accompany him.
Mr Chan will return to Hong Kong on December 13. During his absence, Under Secretary for Development Eric Ma will act as Secretary for Development.
