The volume of Hong Kong's total goods exports increased 3.3% year-on-year in September, the Census & Statistics Department announced today.
The volume of goods re-exports increased 3.4% compared to the same period last year, while that of domestic exports decreased 5.5%.
Concurrently, the volume of goods imports grew 4%.
For the first nine months of this year, the volume of goods re-exports increased 2.9%, while that of domestic exports rose 7.1%.
Taken together, the volume of total goods exports increased 3%, while the volume of goods imports grew 3%.
