The volume of Hong Kong’s total goods exports increased 5.8% year-on-year in July, the Census & Statistics Department says.
The volume of goods re-exports grew 5.7%, while that of domestic exports increased 11.4%.
Concurrently, the volume of goods imports grew 5.9%.
For the first seven months of this year, the volume of goods re-exports increased 2.5% year-on-year, while that of domestic exports rose 8.4%.
Taken together, the volume of total goods exports rose 2.6%. The volume of goods imports grew 2.9%.
