Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Gregory So will attend the 21st Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation small and medium enterprises ministerial meeting in Nanjing on September 5.
Under the innovation and sustainability theme, Mr So will discuss initiatives to support small and medium enterprises' innovation in Hong Kong at the meeting.
He will then head to Shenzhen to open the first Hong Kong-Shenzhen Design Biennale on the next day, before returning to Hong Kong.
Under Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Godfrey Leung will act as Secretary during Mr So's absence.
