The Economic Development Commission, under the leadership of Chief Executive CY Leung, met today to discuss issues relating to the work of the Government in complementing the National 13th Five-Year Plan.
Mr Leung said the Government has started preparations for the plan and have identified areas of initial study.
He said it will submit its proposals to the National Development & Reform Commission for consideration after consulting the relevant sectors and committees.
He said he welcomes members' views on subjects related to the city's economic development, including the finance, trade, maritime, cruise, technology, cultural and creative industries.
Members were also briefed on the work progress of the commission's four working groups and their recommendations.
